Download and install
- Download SyncProof (a zip file, about 120 MB). It's the same download for Free and Pro: Pro is unlocked with your licence key.
- Right-click the zip → Extract All, and pick any folder you like.
- Open the folder and double-click SyncProof.exe.
Needs Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). No graphics card needed.
"Windows protected your PC" warning
Windows shows this for new apps that don't have a paid code-signing certificate yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. You only need to do it once. Download SyncProof only from this site.
Activate Pro
- Find your licence key in the receipt email from Gumroad (search your inbox for "SyncProof").
- Open SyncProof → Licence → paste the key → Activate.
Activation needs the internet once. After that SyncProof re-checks the key every few days when you're online and keeps working offline for up to 14 days. If activation fails, check that you copied the whole key with no spaces.
Move Pro to a new PC
One key works on up to 2 PCs. To move it, open SyncProof on the old PC → Licence → Deactivate, then activate on the new one.
If the old PC is gone or broken, reset your activations here. Use the email address you bought with. You can reset once every 30 days.
"Can't measure" or low confidence
SyncProof measures sync by matching lip movement to speech, so it needs a section where someone is talking with their mouth visible.
- Music only, voice-over, or no visible face: there's nothing to match, so it can't measure.
- Wide shots with a small face, side views, masks or hands over the mouth give low confidence. Sections with a closer, front-facing speaker work best.
- Very short files (under about 20 seconds of speech) may not have enough to measure.

Report a problem
Email [email protected] with:
- What you did and what happened.
- The log files: press Windows + R, type
%LOCALAPPDATA%\SyncProof\logs, press Enter, and attach the newest files. - The
report.jsonSyncProof saved next to your video (or in your chosen output folder), if there is one.
Please don't send your video unless we ask. The logs and report don't contain any picture or sound.
Refunds
Not happy? You can get a full refund within 14 days of buying, no questions asked. Email [email protected] with the subject "Refund" from your purchase email. Refunds are processed within 3 days and the key stops working.
New versions
Download again from this link and extract over the old folder (or into a new one). Your licence stays activated. Updates are free.
